NAIDOC Week 2025
Held from 6 to 13 July 2025, NAIDOC Week invites all Australians to come together and celebrate the world’s oldest continuous cultures. This year’s theme, “Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud and Proud”, honours the strength and spirit of First Nations people and encourages all generations to stand in solidarity, share stories, and look toward a united future.
This year also marks 50 years since the first NAIDOC poster, making 2025 a milestone of artistic and cultural expression. Across Sydney, you’ll find a wide variety of events including:
Traditional smoking ceremonies
Indigenous art exhibitions and markets
Live music and dance performances
Storytelling sessions and community-led workshops
Conveniently located near key cultural sites and event hubs, Novotel Sydney on Darling Harbour offers easy access to NAIDOC Week activities throughout the city.
Plan your visit to Sydney this July and be part of this powerful celebration of culture, identity, and community.
